St. Monica's Alumni Association seeks board members
Posted on 01/27/2012
The St. Monica's Alumni Association is designed to promote a strong bond of fellowship among those who have benefited from St. Monica’s services.
The St. Monica’s Alumni Group is open to anyone who ever attended treatment at St. Monica’s. The only requirement to participate is that you must be excited to re-connect with your fellow alumni and be currently sustaining your sobriety!
We are currently seeking individuals interested in serving on the Board of St. Monica’s Alumni Association. We need people committed to serving as board members, chairpersons, and committee members.
There will be an election meeting Tuesday, Feb. 21, at 6pm in the Willow Room located at 105 Wedgewood Drive.
If you are unable to attend but would still like to participate in the Alumni Association, please contact Meg at 402-434-2814. We will be happy to keep you updated on election information and future opportunities to participate.
A new year, an opportunity for renewal and hope

The women and families at St. Monica's are embracing recovery from the inside out ... renewing their minds, bodies and spirits!
For many of us, renewal means taking a deep breath, taking inventory of where we are and making adjustments to get us back on track to our hopes, dreams and vision for our lives.
For the women at St. Monica’s, renewal means something deeper. It means relearning what healthy relationships look and feel like. It is about letting go of generational cycles of abuse, violence and anger and connecting to a new reality. One where there is healthy conflict resolution and positive self care.
Treatment is so much more than dealing with addiction to drugs and alcohol. It is about refreshing the mind and planting new seeds that if nurtured, grow to support and empower families. That’s what happens at St. Monica’s. Big and small victories build on one another, and families rediscover and renew together.
St. Monica's offers a home for women struggling with substance abuse and mental health problems. Learn more about who we are and view a list of our programs and services.

WOW! We are bowled over by the generosity of our supporters who donated to and participated in Amazing Chase VI! This year's FUNdraiser brought in a record $65,000 to benefit St. Monica's programs and services for women and their families. Check out this video to catch the spirit of the Amazing Chase!
It's not too late to donate ... click here for more information. Mark your calendars for Amazing Chase VII, coming to Lincoln on Oct. 13, 2012. Contact us for more information about team registration or corporate sponsorship ... and thanks so much for supporting St. Monica's!
