- Lincoln Council on Alcoholism and Drugs (LCAD) - Since 1962 the Lincoln Council on Alcoholism and Drugs (LCAD) has been your link to alcohol, tobacco and other drug prevention, intervention and treatment resources in Lincoln and Lancaster County. We are one of 7 prevention centers in the state of Nebraska funded specifically to coordinate and plan for regional alcohol, tobacco and drug prevention.
- Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) - The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) has established a clear vision for its work -- a life in the community for everyone. To realize this vision, the Agency has sharply focused its mission on building resilience and facilitating recovery for people with or at risk for mental or substance use disorders. SAMHSA is gearing all of its resources -- programs, policies and grants -- toward that outcome.
- Nebraska Coalition for Women's Treatment - The Nebraska Coalition for Women's Treatment began through St Monica's in 1999 by receiving funding from a Maternal Child Health Block Grant. The goal of the organization is to create an infrastructure of women's substance abuse programs and advocate for gender competent treatment.
- Voices of Hope (formerly Rape Spouse Abuse Crisis Center) - Voices of Hope's primary focus is on the provision of crisis intervention, advocacy and prevention services for domestic violence, sexual assault and incest. Services are provided to victims and their families. While the majority of the adult victims are women, all of our services except groups are provided to male victims.
- Nebraska Domestic Violence Sexual Assault Coalition - The Nebraska Domestic Violence Sexual Assault Coalition is a statewide advocacy organization committed to the prevention and elimination of sexual and domestic violence. We work to enhance safety and justice for victims of domestic violence and sexual assault by supporting and building upon the services provided by the network of local programs.
- Rebecca Project - The Rebecca Project for Human Rights is a national legal and policy organization that advocates for public policy reform, justice and dignity for vulnerable families.
The Rebecca Project strives to reform child welfare, criminal justice, and substance abuse policies that impact the lives of vulnerable families. We frame the pervasiveness of violence against women and girls, the draconian conditions that too often characterize maternal incarceration, and the dearth of access to health and healing for mothers and their children, as fundamental human rights violations.
