Below is a list of items that can help St. Monica's better serve women and their families. This list is updated regularly based on current needs.

If you would like to make an in-kind donation, please call our office in advance at (402) 441-3768 to make arrangements for pick-up or drop-off of the items. Thank you so much for supporting women and families at St. Monica's!

(*Please note that due to our accreditation guidelines, we are unable to take donations of used cloth items.)

  • Shop-vacs (for flooding cleanup) and vacuums for our 5 residences
  • Art therapy supplies: yarn, knitting needles, crochet hooks, paints, brushes, markers, canvases, papers, embellishments, stamps, stickers, glitter, pipe cleaners, tissue paper, beads, wire and clasps, glue, ziploc bags, mirrors, scissors, rulers and more
  • Basic *Tshirts, sweatshirts, sweatpants, socks and underwear, M-3X, especially larger sizes (for women who enter with only the clothes on their backs)
  • For our bedrooms: *Twin sheets/comforters; pillows; nightstands, bedside lamps, long curtains, plastic totes or collapsible hampers
  • Personal hygiene items: Shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste, toothbrush, soap, body wash, lotion, razors, feminine hygiene
  • Books: Alcoholics Anonymous and Narcotics Anonymous "Big Books"; "A Woman's Way Through the Twelve Steps"; Gallup "StrengthsFinder 2.0"
  • Support for healthy lifestyles: Wii fitness/dance programs, Pedometers, yoga mats, exercise DVDs, jump ropes, hula hoops
  • Children's games, books, balls and learning toys, activity books and crafts for our Early Childhood Center and Project Mother & Child residence
  • Blank journals to encourage coping skills, stress relief and goal-setting
  • *Towel and washcloth sets
  • Kitchen supplies: Tupperware, pots and pans, bakeware, dishes, glasses and silverware
  • Laundry soap (powder, industrial strength, economy size)
  • Infant formula, diapers (all sizes) and baby hygiene items (shampoo, etc)
  • DVDs for movie nights (positive/nonviolent films for women or children)
  • Gift Cards to grocery or discount stores for basic needs and fresh food
  • Gas Cards to help with transportation to work or school
  • Passes to movie theaters, local performances and family activities
